At Plain City Elementary, love filled the air,
Second graders buzzing with glitter everywhere.
Pink and red papers stacked up high,
Hearts and stickers piled to the sky.

Mailboxes covered in sparkle and lace,
Each one showing its owner’s sweet style and grace.
Markers squeaked and scissors snipped,
Glue sticks twisted, valentines clipped.

Giggles popped like candy hearts,
Friends delivering kindness in handmade parts.
“Be mine!” “You’re sweet!” in crayon bright,
Little notes shared pure delight.

Chocolate smudges, frosting smiles,
Joy that stretches down the halls for miles.
At Plain City Elementary, you can clearly see—
Valentine’s Day is friendship, fun, and community. 💕

Our 4th graders really delivered the creativity this Valentine’s Day! 💝 From giant soda and chick fil a to trains and wrestling creations, their Valentine boxes were full of imagination and personality. It was so fun seeing each student’s unique design — and even more fun watching them share cards and kindness with each other. Sweet treats + big smiles = a pretty great day in 4th grade!

Our first graders rolled into an unforgettable bowling field trip today! From learning how to take turns and cheer on friends to celebrating strikes, spares, and very enthusiastic gutter balls 😄—it was a day full of smiles, teamwork, and lots of laughs. We’re so proud of how they represented our school and had fun learning outside the classroom! 🚌✨

-2 proofs of residency (these must be connected to your home and may include power, water, gas bill, mortgage statement, or drivers license with current address).
-student's original birth certificate along with your drivers license
-Immunization records

Once required documentation is received and reviewed, the office will approve your student. You will then receive and email from *powerschool* with further instructions.

In October, Mrs. Simonsen’s awesome 5th graders scored a delicious adventure to Westside Pizza for being the top class in Fun Run donations — and they celebrated in true Plain City style! 🍕💙

From cheesy slices to lots of laughter, Westside Pizza hosted 30 incredibly excited kids who definitely earned this tasty reward. A HUGE thank-you to everyone who donated and supported our school, and an extra shoutout to Westside Pizza for making the day unforgettable! 🙌

All grades took on the challenge of coding the Kindergarten BOT using There Was an Old Lady Who Swallowed a Turkey.

🍦 What a sweet way to wrap up our Fun Run fundraiser! 🎉 Thanks to our amazing students, families, and community, this year’s Fun Run was a huge success!

To celebrate, Mrs. Elliott was turned into a giant ice cream sundae — complete with chocolate, caramel, and sprinkles! 🍫🍒 She had a blast “bathing” in toppings, enjoying a little ice cream, and even spitting a few marshmallows into the cheering crowd! 😆
