Hi! Kindergarten is my happy place! I absolutely love the magic that happens in a kindergarten classroom. I earned my degree from Utah State University and later completed my Master’s in Education through Western Governors University. I believe kindergarten should be full of movement, hands-on experiences, and smiles. My goal is to create a space where every child feels loved, supported, and excited to learn each day.

Outside the classroom, I’m all about the outdoors! I love playing, traveling, gardening, and soaking up the sunshine whenever I can. I’m also a bit of a crazy dog lady and share my home with some fun furry, feathered, and finned friends—a dog, chickens, bunnies, and fish!

I’m so happy to be part of this wonderful school family and look forward to a fantastic year filled with learning, laughter, and growth!

Hi! My name is Christian Charlesworth. I have a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and have worked in different positions in education, including eight years as a reading aide and three years teaching English Language Learners. I’ve taught 1st and 2nd grades and am currently loving my time in Kindergarten.

I am passionate about teaching and committed to creating a positive, supportive classroom where students feel safe, valued, and excited to learn.

Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my husband and our five amazing children. As a family, we love hiking, biking, playing pickleball, paddle boarding, traveling, and going to Dodgers games. I also enjoy reading, dark chocolate, watching movies, and game nights with family.

Hello!! I started my teaching career in the Ogden City School District, teaching 1st and 2nd grade. While there, I received my ESL endorsement. I taught for five years and then stayed home to be with my two children. Then, in 2012, I was hired at Plain City Elementary as a 1st grade teacher.  I taught 1st grade for ten years.  Then, for the last two years, I have been teaching kindergarten.  I love being at Plain City Elementary.  The staff and community here are amazing.  There's no place like PCE!!! I also love being with the students and watching them learn and progress.  I enjoy creating a positive, happy, safe environment where students can explore, learn, and grow.  We truly become a school family during our time together.  

When I'm not at school, I enjoy being with my family.  My husband, Chad, and I raised our two children, Taylor and Callee, here in Plain City.  We enjoy camping, traveling, and mountain biking together.  I love to read and play with my dogs.  

I adore teaching kindergarten at Plain City! I previously taught third grade in Logan for 15 years, which I also loved. Kindergarten is like no other- the kids are so genuinely good to each other, learn so much, and love almost everything! Every day is a new adventure, for sure!

My husband and I live just a couple miles from the school and have a combined total of 7 kids... all boys! We also have 4 dogs! It's a wild and fun time at our house!

I'm so grateful to work with the teachers and staff of our school, and love getting to know students and their families.
