I graduated from the University of Utah with an Elementary Education degree, then taught 4th grade for three years in Jordan School District. I spent the next 15 years staying at home with my kids before coming back to the classroom in 2023 to teach 1st grade at Plain City. 

I am married and have FIVE daughters! My girls and I love to watch movies, eat popcorn, and read, read, read. Dr. Pepper with coconut is my favorite daily treat. I love to travel, especially in Europe. My favorite place of all time is Ireland and I'm hoping to hit some countries in South America in the next few years.

I am passionate about education and strive to help each student realize their potential.

With over 20 years of experience, I am a dedicated 4th grade teacher passionate about fostering a love of learning in my students. I earned my BS from Weber State University and my MAT from Western New Mexico University. Outside of the classroom, I enjoy staying active by playing racquetball, volleyball, and bicycling. I am a proud father of two wonderful children and husband to an amazing wife. My family also shares the joy of our black lab, Oreo, and we love exploring the beauty of national parks in our travel trailer together.

With a Bachelor's degree from Weber State College and a Master's degree in Reading Literacy, I have had the privilege of teaching for over 3 decades. Throughout my career, I’ve enjoyed teaching students in 1st through 5th grades. 4th grade is my favorite. 

Outside the classroom, I enjoy gardening, reading, and playing all types of sports, though these days I find great joy in watching my kids and grandkids compete. Family vacations are a treasured time for me, and I’m fortunate to share these special moments with my husband, who is not only my partner in life but also my best friend. Together, we are proud parents to three wonderful children, their spouses, and grandparents to five amazing grandkids.

As a graduate of Weber State University with a master's in curriculum from Southern Utah University, I have enjoyed teaching for over 2 decades. I am passionate about education, I find joy in helping students grow and succeed. In my free time, I love traveling with my husband and friends, whether camping or going to exotic places, and playing soccer. My family is my greatest treasure, including my husband, two sons, and our two wonderful grand-cats.
