
Last week, we had a blast at the Military Family Fall Festival!
Thank you to everyone who came out to enjoy the food, fun, and community resources. A special thanks to our local businesses for donating prizes for our raffle.
All proceeds from the event will go towards funding elementary student field trips to Star Base at Hill Field.









The Royal Football team fought hard and made it all the way to the state finals! Their hard work is inspiring and we're incredibly proud of our Region V Champions and 5A State Runner-Up! A huge thank you to our amazing athletes, dedicated coaches, supportive parents, and the entire community for making this season unforgettable.











Canyon View School was filled with holiday cheer as families, friends, and our amazing community came together to support our students at the Winter Carnival. Our talented students showcased their creativity and hard work with an incredible array of handcrafted items, including festive gnomes, garlands, custom sweatshirts, ornaments, and artwork. Watching them proudly share their creations with the community was truly heartwarming. Thank you to everyone who came, shopped, and celebrated with us.











Love Juliet visits Orchard Springs Elementary! 3rd-6th grade students had the cutest assembly featuring Love Juliet, a 23-year-old local singer-songwriter with an incredible story. For many of our students, it was their very first concert—and the smiles on their faces said it all! They were thrilled to take photos with this amazing artist after the assembly.





Despite the chilly weather, Washington Terrace Elementary had a blast at their Boosterthon Fun Run last week. Our Bulldogs showed their determination and spirit! Thank you to everyone who participated and supported this amazing event!

A huge thank you to everyone who joined the Weber School District Military Support Team for our Veterans Hike! We were honored to hike alongside families, district employees, and friends in support of our veterans and in remembrance of Major Brent Taylor. Participants enjoyed beautiful views of the valley along the Coldwater Canyon trail. It was a day filled with gratitude, reflection, and community support.

Many of our schools recently held a special Veterans Day Celebration Luncheon. Veterans were invited to eat lunch with their students and share stories about their service.

The Weber School District Art Show is happening now at the District Office! 🖌️ Come see the incredible talent of our students on display—paintings, sculptures, digital art, and more! From elementary to high school, each piece tells a story and shows the amazing creativity within our schools. The art will be displayed until Nov. 14th. Whether you’re an art enthusiast or just looking for something inspiring, this show is a must-see. Stop by and support our young artists!






Last Friday, we had a productive Professional Development Day throughout the District! 📚
Teachers and Staff had the opportunity to attend a variety of sessions, from general education to job-specific workshops. We're excited to see how these new strategies and skills will enhance the student experience.

Orchard Springs Elementary made October a month to remember! 🌟
The entire school came together for a food drive, collecting canned and boxed goods to help support families in need. Thanks to the creative work of the Hope Squad students, all those donations were arranged on the playground in the shape of the school mascot—an owl! 🦉 It was an amazing sight from above, symbolizing the school’s spirit of kindness and giving.
To wrap up the month, Orchard Springs hosted a Halloween costume parade, where families gathered to cheer on students in their creative costumes. 🎃👻👏

Ribbon Cutting at West Field High School! We were excited to officially celebrate the beginning of West Field High School during a special ribbon-cutting ceremony! The event was more than just the unveiling of a building—it was the start of a bright future for our students and the community.










Students in grades 3-6 had the amazing opportunity to meet Brandon Mull, the bestselling author of the Fablehaven and Dragonwatch series! Mull captivated students with his stories about magic, adventure, and imagination, inspiring many young readers and aspiring writers. A huge thank you to Librarian Lucy Davidson for organizing this incredible event and making it possible for our students to experience the magic of storytelling firsthand!











Walk to School Day at Silver Ridge Elementary! 🌟
Silver Ridge Elementary celebrated Walk to School Day with an amazing turnout! The sidewalks were lined with smiles as Principal Heather Georgi and teachers welcomed students. A special thank you to Far West City Mayor Ken Phippin, Fremont High cheerleaders, the fire department, and members of the sheriff’s department for joining us and making this day extra special!









Roy Junior High successfully hosted the Hope Fair for the community during their Hope Week celebrations. The event aimed to inspire positivity and provide valuable resources, bringing together students, families, and community members. It was a meaningful effort to foster hope, connection, and well-being for all!


What an incredible day at the Royal Run Cross Country meet hosted by Roy High School! All five high school cross country teams in the district competed, along with teams from all over Utah and Wyoming. It was a beautiful morning for a run, with athletes giving their all on the course.


The Construction Management Magnet class embarked on a thrilling field trip to Powder Mountain, where they explored Granite Construction projects and discovered exciting opportunities in construction.


SUU Flight Program made a visit to Innovation High School to share some career opportunities in the aviation industry.
