At Innovation High, success is defined by more than just earning a diploma. It is about preparing students for life beyond graduation. The 2025–2026 school year highlights how this vision is becoming reality, with students leaving high school equipped with real world skills, college credentials, and clear pathways forward.
A standout 53% of seniors completed at least one state Career and Technical Education (CTE) pathway. This reflects the school’s commitment to hands on, career focused learning that connects classroom experiences to real opportunities. Through these pathways, students gain valuable skills in areas such as business, healthcare, technology, and skilled trades, building confidence and direction before they even graduate.
Even more impressive, 60% of seniors earned one or more associate degrees or certificates of completion or proficiency. These achievements demonstrate Innovation High’s focus on providing rigorous academic opportunities and access to concurrent enrollment programs. Students are not just graduating, they are accelerating their futures, often entering college with credits already completed or stepping directly into career ready positions.
At its core, Innovation High is more than graduation. It is about readiness, opportunity, and empowerment. Students are encouraged to explore their interests, challenge themselves academically, and develop skills that will serve them long after high school. The goal is not simply to walk across the stage, it is to walk into the next chapter of life prepared and confident.
As education continues to evolve, Innovation High stands out as a model for what is possible when schools prioritize both achievement and purpose.

🚫 Elementary & junior high are closed campuses, meaning no leaving without permission or proper checkout.

Sterling Scholar applications are now being accepted. This outstanding program has a long history in Utah. The Deseret News and KSL Television developed the program to recognize outstanding seniors in a public setting. Students are selected and judged based on academic/scholastic achievement, and amazing leadership and citizenship qualities. In addition to monetary benefits, being a Sterling Scholar comes with major bragging rights.
You are eligible if you will be graduating with the WIHS class of 2026.
There are 14 categories and you can apply in as many categories as you would like (although you can only win one). The categories are: English, Math, Social Science, Science, World Languages, Computer Technology, Skilled and Technical Sciences Education, Family and Consumer Sciences, Business and Marketing, Speech/Theater Arts/Forensics, Vocal Performance, Visual Arts, Instrumental Music, and Dance.
If you would like more information, email Mrs. Berni, or come talk to her in Room 212. If you would like to be officially considered, fill out the form and email it to Mrs. Berni by November 7th. School nominees will be announced no later than November 25th.
