This past weekend, two of our incredible teams represented Weber School District at the State Unified Sports Basketball tournament, and we couldn't be prouder of their heart and hustle!
High-fives to Team Make Waves from Bonneville High School for a hard-fought overtime thriller against Sky Ridge, and a huge shoutout to Team BLKxGLD from Roy High School for their nail-biting 1-point victory over West Lake! 🏆
The Unified Sports mission is simple but profound: to create an environment where students with and without intellectual disabilities train and compete together, fostering a culture of acceptance and empowerment. These programs are a vital part of why our district is a leader in inclusive education.
