This year we were able to hand out our very first Excellence in Assessment Award. We have amazing testing aides at Weber School District that always go above their duties. We asked our school Administrators to nominate a testing aide that showed "Exceptional service, dedication, and skill in supporting the assessment process".
Leslie was nominated by Majestic's Instructional Coach Melanie Tilly and Principal Libby Jacobsen. When we asked in what ways does Leslie positively impact your assessment results and testing environment they said "Leslie’s work has a direct and positive impact on both our assessment results and the overall testing environment. By building strong relationships with students and staff, she creates a calm and supportive atmosphere where students feel comfortable and confident, allowing them to perform at their best.
Her organization and careful monitoring ensure that all assessments are completed accurately and on time, maintaining the integrity of our data. Beyond that, Leslie analyzes progress monitoring results and uses that information to provide targeted support in intervention groups. This helps address student needs quickly and effectively, leading to improved outcomes.
Her attention to detail, proactive approach, and genuine care for students make a meaningful difference in both the testing experience and student achievement."

This year we were able to hand out our very first Excellence in Assessment Award. We have amazing testing aides at Weber School District that always go above their duties. We asked our school Administrators to nominate a testing aide that showed "Exceptional service, dedication, and skill in supporting the assessment process." Mandy Stoker was nominated by her admin Patrick Andrus and he had this to say about her. When we asked for an example of Mandy going "above and beyond" "Mandy is thorough. If she doesn't understand an element required for test administration she will research or call whom ever she needs to and find the answer. She plans for testing and prepares all the items and logistics we need to be prepared. I think we started looking at testing schedules in first term. She works closely with faculty to make sure she has enough support and minimized disruption to our normal schedule. In addition to all of this she is our copy center aide and coordinates our substitutes. She is a busy lady who is dedicated to the success of our campus.'
